English Our topic is Enchanted Woodland. We are looking at the story The Enchanted Wood by Enid Blyton. Here is chapter 4.

Today I want to give you some time to catch up on anything you may have missed in maths, before we come back to school. You might want to look at a lesson from a different day. You may want to do some extra practice with something you struggled on. Or you could play some maths games online!

This half term, we would like for you to focus on enjoying lots of different books at home.

-Take some time to read the books you have collected from school.

-Listen to the Enchanted Wood story, you can discuss the characters and story with someone at home.

-On Friday, we will complete a reading comprehension lesson.

Competition!

Hello one and all! This Monday the 12th of October, we all had a "Remote Learning" assembly in class. At the end of that assembly, we were told that there was a competition in school. Please find the code for the Nearpod assembly below!

Good morning year 2! I hope you have all had a great holiday and are keeping safe at home. I miss you all and I wish we were all back together today, but for now we will be doing lots of exciting learning from home. We are busy bees today, getting all of your things ready, but you will hear from me again very soon. I am going to make sure you are not left bored and I will be on hand to help whoever is looking after you at home.
