🕮 Today is our day to collect reading books from the nursery, Year 1 1-1.30, Year 1-2 1.30-2.00pm, Year 2 2.00-2.30pm 🕮

Today's lesson plan is below:

AM- Writing, Phonics, Maths

PM- Reading, Collective Worship, Dance

English Our topic is Enchanted Woodland. We are looking at the story The Enchanted Wood by Enid Blyton. Here is chapter 3.

Reading

This half term, we would like for you to focus on enjoying lots of different books at home. 

-Take some time to read the books you have collected from school. 

-Listen to the Enchanted Wood story, you can discuss the characters and story with someone at home.

-On Friday, we will complete a reading comprehension lesson.

Wonderful Wednesday!

Wow year 2, I have been SO impressed with the work you have completed today.  You have shown  perseverance  and independence ! We have had lots of our shells in our tub and so many table points. Why don't you tell someone at home what we are going to do when we fill the shells again?  Can you tell them about something you have learned today?  Don't forget, our spellings this week are:  yawn, floor, leaf, sailor, door, dolphin As always, if you leave a comment, you can have a table point!  Any parents wishing to speak to Miss Healey about settling in reports can email year2@stjohnmark.co.uk if you would like to arrange a phone call.  Thanks for a great day! Hello!

Good morning year 2!  I hope you have all had a great holiday and are keeping safe at home. I miss you all and I wish we were all back together today, but for now we will be doing lots of exciting learning from home.  We are busy bees today, getting all of your things ready, but you will hear from me again very soon.
