Friday 15th January

Hello! Please leave a comment below to say Hi!

Today's lesson plan is below:

AM- Art, Spellings, Times Tables

PM- Music

Enjoy the activities and we look forward to seeing your work. Work can be photographed and emailed to your child's teacher:

Mr Sadler: year1-2@stjohnmark.co.uk

Miss Healey: year2@stjohnmark.co.uk

Art - as our topic this half term is 'Muck, Mess and Mixtures', we are going to have a look at mixing colours in art. We will learn about colours for a few weeks and then we will be looking at an artist and how they use colour.

Watch the video about primary colours, choose one primary colour and draw as many things as you can think that are that colour.

Spellings from the list you were given in the brown envelope. Practice them throughout the next week and ask someone to test you on them next Friday.

1. money    2. grass    3. behind    4. sugar    5. could    6. plant

If you want a bit more challenge, try these extra spellings: children, father, deliver

Times Tables Check that you can log in to times tables rockstars and have a go at some 2x, 5x and 10x tables activities. Your brown envelope has a sheet in with your login details!

Music for today, a lesson from our own Mrs Geelan:

Learning Log- complete one activity each week.

Hope you enjoy your weekend. Well done for completing your first full week of lessons online! I am very proud of your efforts.
